Puppy Pal Pocket Applique

Who doesn't love a cute applique!?! I know I sure do! I just love appliqueing sweaters for kids and babies! They just add so much detail and make each piece so unique.

When brainstorming ideas for the sweaters to be included in the Puppy PAL-ooza line, I envisioned a cute little puppy peaking out of a pocket. I could just see a little kid running around the back yard with an adorable dog bouncing in his pocket! My little guy is always stuffing "treasures" into his pockets.

I just love putting pockets on sweaters! It's a great addition, especially for little ones that love pacifiers. I can attest to this since both of mine used them. It was so convenient when their outfit had a pocket! I could either stuff the pacifier in there, or easily clip on the carrier!

This pattern includes the applique for the puppy, paws, and pocket. It works well on almost any baby sweater. If you're feeling super creative, this could even work really well on a fabric sweater!

I really enjoy my Two Tone sweater because it is so versatile for both boys and girls! This pocket applique is a perfect addition to that pattern, as you can see here.
